In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the official statement, "An unusual meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Additional Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an unique katana alongside multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Addition

This patch also brings the game's latest no-cost story addition, titled "A Puzzlement."
